Getting started
What modblo is, who it's for, and your first install in 5 minutes.
modblo is a library of premium Shopify sections and blocks. You paste them into your theme, edit text and colors right in the code, and they work. No app to install, no monthly subscription, no JavaScript framework to learn.
Who modblo is for
modblo fits two kinds of teams. Store owners who want a higher-converting storefront without paying for features through Shopify apps, and freelance or agency builders who want a head start on client work without licensing a page builder per project.
- DTC brands running a modern Shopify theme who want to replace specific apps (Rebuy, Hextom, Privy, Loox basics) with code they own.
- Freelancers and agencies who need polished sections without rebuilding the same patterns for every client.
- Single-product brands launching their first store who want a credible product page, hero, and reviews layout on day one.
What you get
- Sections. Full-page pieces that go in your theme’s
/sectionsfolder. You configure them in the theme editor like any built-in section. - Blocks. Smaller HTML, CSS, and JavaScript snippets that paste into Shopify’s built-in
Custom Liquidsection through the theme editor. No code editor needed. - Packs. Hand-picked bundles of sections grouped by goal (Black Friday, mobile sales, apparel, and so on) at 30 to 50% off buying one at a time.
Your first install in 5 minutes
The flow is the same for every section. Here it is end to end with a free section so you can try without buying:
- 01Browse free sections and pick one. The Sticky Add to Cart is a good first install. It runs site-wide and the value lands instantly.
- 02On the section page, click
Copy code(free sections) orBuy section(premium). The full file is on the page. - 03In Shopify admin, go to
Online Store, Themes, click the...next to your active theme, thenEdit code. - 04In the
Sectionsfolder, clickAdd a new section, name it (for examplemodblo-sticky-add-to-cart), paste the code, and save. - 05Back in
Customize, clickAdd sectionon any template, scroll to find your new section, and add it. Set the text, colors, and behavior in the editor panel.
Try it right now
The whole flow above takes about 5 minutes the first time and under a minute once you’ve done it once. There is no build step, no package manager, no deploy.
